The Satchel Paige Foundation (SPF) is a public not-for-profit 501 (c ) (3) organization established to perpetuate his legacy through by creating baseball education charitable programs that will aid our participants in the development of positive character traits and values that will foster success throughout their lifetime. The overall focus is to use his personal story of strife to success as a method to connect with youth providing hope, social and emotional learning, and a general uplifting of our communities.
The purpose of the Satchel Paige Foundation (SPF) is to perpetuate his legacy through charitable programs with the overall focus to use Leroy “Satchel” Paige’s personal story of strife to success as a method to connect with youth to provide hope, social and emotional learning and other skills; to encourage a general uplifting of communities.

Our Philosophy
Good sportsmanship fosters good habits and positive life skills both in and out of sports games and is an important life skill for people of all ages.
